Sam Fender - take a bow! The North Shields singer wowed the crowds at St James' Park for two sell-out shows over the weekend on a Star Live VerTech stage.

Star Live’s first show at St James Park was operationally challenging from the outset. The stadium’s existing event diary meant additional time pressure for the build, resulting in the team operating 24-hour shifts to hand over the completed stage on time.

The iconic stadium also has one of the more restrictive vehicle access tunnels at just 3.5m high which necessitated the use of low-rise tractor units and specialist low-level cranes.
