Star Live speaks to StandOut Magazine about D-Day 80

The nation united to remember the brave soldiers and Allied forces who carried out the pivotal D-Day invasion in June 1944. As part of the tributes, the BBC hosted The National Commemoration Event on Southsea Common, Portsmouth.

Star Live, in collaboration with Steve Nolan and Chromatic Productions, had the privilege of supplying the event’s main stage, 4500 seats, the Royal Box and facilities for the Royal party, and various infrastructure for the veterans, BBC and media. We were asked by StandOut magazine to discuss the intricacies of this project, from the early stages of development to the onsite collaboration and how we supported this momentous occasion.
