London Marathon.
The London Marathon is one of the world’s top ten marathon events. Star Live designed and delivered a range of temporary structures, all designed to interface with historical buildings and architecture and cause minimal pedestrian obstruction in key locations.
These structures included grandstands, an elevated covered bridge (that spanned The Mall to allow the world's media to capture the iconic shots of athletes crossing the finish line), alongside a range of 'rapid deployment towers’ and bespoke modular scaffold structures for large format signage. The operation is closely co-ordinated to ensure minimal disruption to the commercial activities of one of the world’s busiest cities.
